It's difficult for Australia to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have already been conquered.

We're talking about the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and once went over three years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the record chasers, are the only things left for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

The fact it required until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the pitchers that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

It is hard for their batters to possess a record if not provided the possibility.

Certain people claim the case for championship match pressure. Some might respond with the challenge that comes when confronting a historic chase and a raucous India-supporting crowd of 20,000.

What is certain is this century was far harder to predict.

The New Zealand onslaught in 2022 came as she topped the run-scoring charts, but this knock was preceded by six games in India over the past few weeks in which she had failed to pass 30.

"For those following me in the nets, it was a disappointing period because it appeared I lacked timing at all," stated Healy.

"But once you take the field, your fighting spirit activate and you completely engage with the match."

Healy's competitive nature has continuously been her key asset - and an irreplaceable characteristic in replacing iconic ex-skipper Meg Lanning.

She was challenged by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in last month's ODI series, out to the emerging pace bowler in every game, but here that only provided Healy's spark.

"The possibility to play and face the challenge with her and merely enjoy the moment in that aspect, somewhat inspired me," said Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 deliveries - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her hundred in 84 balls as she attacked short-pitched balls, hitting 21 fours and three maximums.

Once she was removed the team required another 66 at one run per ball - an unconquered height now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the confidence to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, if necessary, we know we can do it."

These statements will be the last Australia's opponents at this tournament should hear.

In recent days a belief they will win from any position has grown stronger - this victory following victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a meeting with longtime competitors England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.

It was in the semi-finals they were eliminated from last year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a game Healy missed because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she led her country for the initial instance at a significant event.
